I’ve never undersood why airline passengers clap at the end of some flights. Shouldn’t we clap when the plane takes off, that seems like the real magical part of flying to me. Is clapping at the end a way of saying, “thank you for not killing us”?
I’m not a clapper but I’ve always assumed people were clapping to congratulate the pilot for smooth landing or just because they’re happy to arrive at their destination and get off the airplane!
My neighbor left behind tons of awesome treasures. Among them were cases and cases of slides from all over the world from the 1940s,50s,60s. Only problem is I don’t have a slide projector! If you happen to have a slide projector I would be more than happy to send you some via snail mail. E-mail me!
